when i was a child i wanted to learn the violin. they gave me a saxophone. in commemoration i gave my dog a wristwatch.

these are some terribly wicked cats!

free-range and philosophically unencumbered, they're all in. they despise giving up a good grudge and never avoid an entertaining scrap.

clever, certainly.

calculating consequences, never..

they're the kind of cats you gladly give a buck to in hopes they'll keep moving along.

we shall follow them about as they explore preceptive relativism and wallow in random schadenfreude.

not to mention an occasional bottle of opprobrium and a smoke or two.

we'll also be posting some snippets of the companion narrative.

it's a jumbled and disconnected fairy tale from dreaming moments. ________________________

in response to several recent queries... "is that cat smoking?"

"yes... i've said they are Very Wicked."

"do they BOTH smoke, then?"

well, i've only seen Achilles doing it."

Blue Rosebuds

I love you and 'cause I do
My skies have changed
From grey to blue
But blue's not just
A color of the rainbow

Its shade is not a hazy hue
But pure and hard
My sky blue blue
It's like a Roman candle
Coming rosebuds

"Your words are empty hollow bleatings
Of a mental crutch
They're open-festered indigestion
With a velvet touch
An ether-eating Eskimo
Would gag upon your sight
Convulsed into oblivion
From laughter or from fright

A coma with a sweet aroma
Is your only dream
Malignant with the misconception
That a grunt can glean
Your lichen-covered corpuscles
Are filthy to my fist
Infection is your finest flower
Mildewed in the mist."

I love you and 'cause I do
My skies have turned
From grey to blue
But blue's not just a color
Of the rainbow

Its shade is not a hazy hue
But pure and hard
My blue sky blue
It's like a Roman candle
Coming rosebuds

The photo on Mussolini's desk was of his cat.

Say what you like about Italy and Italians but my heavens do they do things w Style!

Hence, expect to see something on that line soon as well as guest appearance by Hitler.

some narrative on upcoming paintings...

the boys were contemplating Xmas one day.

"Wonder why Santa does what he does?" Hector wondered aloud.

Achilles drowsily replied "guess it's just something in him. we should cut him open and find out."

"We'll have to catch him then."

"Catch Santa?? Cooo !!"

"Achilles... I want a firetruck."

Achilles opens one eye, "Whatcha goin' to do with a firetruck??"

"I was just thinking of the things we could burn down. That's all."

Achilles licks a blue paw in the dimness on his chair and says "Uh, I think you got that backwards. But I can see some merit in yr idea. Yes. There is a LOT of stuff that needs burning, isn't there?"
